WHAT TO WEAR NOW: RAYMOND WEIL

Raymond Weil is paying tribute to the Maison’s founder with its newly developed Pilot’s watch. The freelancer Pilot Flyback Chronograph honours Mr. Raymond Weil’s love of flying which lives on in his grandson Elie Bernheim, the CEO of Raymond Weil, and Pierre Bernheim, Chairman of Geneva’s Airport board.

“This timepiece holds a special place in my heart as it was designed with my grandfather in mind. The design of this watch has been inspired by his passion for flying and the aviation instruments of the past, with clear legibility and easy-to-read indicators.”

Elie Bernheim, CEO of Raymond Weil

Housed in a 42mm case, the steel surfaces are coated in grey PVD, providing an elegant and adventurous aesthetic. This vintage aviation theme extends to the onion-shaped crown, a design standard on pilot watches, and the brown leather strap with rivets, reminiscent of those found on aeroplanes. Limited to only 400 pieces, the timepiece’s design celebrates its exclusivity through a distinctive propeller motif engraved on the sapphire case back.
