Where to go now: BACKYARD CINEMA

It’s finally happening. The UK is starting to finally open up and let everyone out. During the gloomy early days of lockdown, many of us felt like normality would never return, but now we’re ready to get up and get back out there with friends and loved ones.

We can all agree that one of the key things that have been missing from our lives lately is the magic of going to the cinema. Whether it’s a summer blockbuster, feel-good favourite, or a jaw-dropping horror, we all missed visiting the big screen.  What if we told you that there’s a magical place that will bring each film to life in so many incredible ways; from dancing in the aisle to sand between your toes. Well, we have the ultimate way for you to celebrate life beyond the pandemic, let’s welcome back the genius that is Backyard Cinema!

The UK’s leading experiential cinema venue Backyard Cinema (BYC) is open and ready to whizz you away. To ensure that everyone is feeling the summer vibes BYC will transform their home at the iconic Capital Studios into the UK’s biggest ever indoor beach with over 56 tonnes of sand, guaranteeing at least some Brits that summer beach holiday they’ve been waiting for.

BYC’s two immersive destination experiences, Miami Beach and L.A. Nights will cater to all yearning cinemagoers and jet setters of all ages, giving everyone a chance to dip their toes in the sand and fly to the cinema first class.

Their smash hit sensation Miami Beach will whisk ticket holders away to the sunshine state, where the glamour, art-deco, blue seas, and permanent sunshine will roll together to create one blissful moment. You’ll relax amongst the palm trees with BYC’s signature palm tree cocktails from the Flamingo Bar and enjoy all your favourite films including the likes of Grease, Dirty Dancing, MAMMA MIA! The Movie Back to The FutureThe Parent TrapCrazy Rich Asians.

For the first time ever, audiences will be able to board Backyard Airlines and catch the first flight of the summer to sun-kissed Los Angeles with L.A. Nights. See the city skyline whilst sipping cocktails in the luminescent Palm Lounge cocktail bar and experience movie magic from the idyllic surroundings of a beautiful Californian beachscape. With films such as The Princess Bride, Jurassic Park, The Bodyguard, and Kinky Boots you’ll never want to leave.
