One of the most recognisable names in the Fortnite community is officially joining the Fortnite Icon Series. Content creator Andre Rebelo, better known online as Typical Gamer, will receive his own in-game cosmetics bundle beginning 28 May.
The announcement was revealed during Typical Gamer’s livestream, alongside the debut of a brand-new live-action trailer starring the creator himself.
Players can learn more via the official Fortnite website and watch updates through Typical Gamer’s YouTube channel.
Typical Gamer’s Fortnite Icon Series Bundle
With more than 26.5 million followers across social media and over 9.7 billion YouTube views, Typical Gamer has become one of the biggest creators associated with Fortnite over the last decade.
The new Icon Series cosmetics set is themed around “Super Red vs. Blue” and includes:
- The Typical Gamer Outfit
- The Redway Ruby Outfit
- Alternate blue colour variants
- The Heist Duffel Back Bling featuring Typical Gamer’s pets Charlie and George
- The Go Live Emote
- The Random Challenge Emote
The bundle will be available in the Fortnite Item Shop until 7 June.
Typical Gamer Icon Cup Gives Players Early Access
To celebrate the launch, Epic Games is also hosting the Solo Battle Royale Typical Gamer Icon Cup. Top-performing players in each region will unlock the Redway Ruby Outfit early, while the highest-ranked competitors will earn the full Typical Gamer Bundle.
Players can check regional tournament times in the in-game Compete Tab.
Competitive Fortnite events continue to be a major part of the game’s evolving creator ecosystem, helping streamers and creators build deeper engagement with their communities.
JOGO Founder Continues Expanding Fortnite Influence
Outside of content creation, Andre Rebelo is also the founder and CEO of JOGO Studios, a UEFN creative studio responsible for some of Fortnite’s most popular custom experiences and games.
His arrival in the Icon Series highlights Epic Games’ continued focus on creators who have helped shape Fortnite culture over the years.
Indigo Kuno Returns to the Fortnite Shop
Alongside the Typical Gamer celebration, Epic Games has confirmed that the fan-favourite Indigo Kuno Outfit will also return to the Item Shop from 29 May until 31 May.
