The UK’s rising country-pop sensation Stella Lain is set to shine brighter than ever with the release of her debut EP ‘Stella’, arriving 17th October. Blending heartfelt storytelling with her signature pink sparkle, the Norfolk-born singer-songwriter is redefining what it means to be a country artist in 2025 — on her own rhinestone-studded terms.
A Celebration of Authenticity, Sparkle, and Soul

Lain’s debut EP is a glittering introduction to her world — one of honesty, empowerment, and unfiltered femininity. Across five tracks, ‘Stella’ captures every shade of her artistry, from the euphoric highs of love and confidence to the quiet vulnerability that follows.
Already making waves with singles “Sun-Kissed”, “Boy Bye”, and “Country Girl”, the EP’s final two songs round out a body of work that perfectly encapsulates the heart of modern country music.
“This EP is a welcome into my Pink World,” Stella explains. “It’s a taster of who I am as an artist — celebrating the different sides of country music I love to write. Every song tells its own story, both musically and emotionally.”
From Norfolk to Nashville (With a Twist)
Drawing inspiration from country icons like Taylor Swift, Carrie Underwood, and Dolly Parton, Stella brings a distinctly British flair to Nashville’s golden sound. Her producer Ariel Delgado and vocal engineer Edward Sargisson helped shape a record that balances shimmering guitar melodies with rich, honeyed vocals.
With playful yet poignant lyricism, Stella’s songs sparkle with personality. From the sun-soaked nostalgia of “Sun-Kissed” to the fiery empowerment of “Boy Bye”, each track showcases her ability to mix storytelling with irresistible pop-country hooks.
Country Barbie Energy

Perhaps the most defining track on the EP, “Country Girl”, serves as a declaration of self-acceptance and confidence. Written after being told she was “too Barbie” to like country music, the song became an anthem for anyone who’s ever felt like an outsider.
“I decided to fully lean in and embrace being a Country Barbie,” she laughs. “This song is about celebrating femininity, having fun, and being yourself — no apologies.”
Honest Reflections and Empowering Anthems
The emotional centerpiece, “The Problem”, strips back the sparkle to reveal raw vulnerability. With lyrics like “Growing up is realising you can’t make somebody like you”, the song explores people-pleasing, self-worth, and the courage it takes to let go of others’ opinions.
Closing the EP, “Go!” takes listeners through the emotional journey of release — from heartbreak to acceptance — ending ‘Stella’ on a note of calm strength and quiet resilience.
More Than One Way to Be Country

Fresh off her performance at Country Calling UK, Stella Lain continues to turn heads in the UK country scene, supported by UK Country Hats and a growing fanbase. Her infectious confidence and unwavering authenticity are quickly positioning her as one of the genre’s brightest new voices.
“There’s more than one way to be a country artist,” Stella says. “And I’m doing it my way — pink, powerful, and proudly myself.”
‘Stella’ is out 17th October on all major streaming platforms.
