A New Cinematic Experience: Dual Aspect Ratio Release
For the first time in Spider-Man cinematic history, Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released in two native aspect ratios, designed to maximise the theatrical experience.
Audiences will see the film presented in:
- 1.90:1 format for flat screens
- 2.39:1 format for scope screens
This dual-format approach is designed to create a more immersive viewing experience, filling screens more completely and ensuring each cinema presentation delivers the intended visual impact.
Story: A World That No Longer Remembers Peter Parker
The new film continues the emotional aftermath of Peter Parker’s altered reality.
Peter is now fighting crime full-time as Spider-Man in a world that no longer remembers him. As he watches former friends move on without him, the emotional toll begins to reshape him in unexpected ways.
That internal transformation may become key to stopping a new and unseen threat—described as a powerful villain no one can even see.
