SharkNinja has revealed just how important food and drink have become to the perfect movie night, with familiar snacks and drinks playing a starring role in our experience. Research found that 62% of Brits rank great snacks as the number one ingredient for a special movie night, while 79% of young adults say food and drink are key to their film night experience. More than half (54%) say eating or drinking specific treats can transport them back to childhood cinema trips, while 52% are likely to choose similar snacks and drinks when rewatching a childhood favourite, rising to 69% among 25–34-year-olds. For 41%, revisiting food, drink, and film rituals from their youth brings back memories of happier or simpler times, while 38% say they do so because they find them comforting. Iced drinks are also a key part of the picture, with one in four Brits (25%) calling them a movie night essential, and Blue Raspberry named the most tempting slushy flavour by 21%.
