When it comes to the genre of music Brits plug into to blitz their homes, it’s clear house music is a crowd favourite, with a staggering 58% revealing it’s their go-to music for cleaning. Almost half (48%) admit to frequently singing along to music whilst cleaning, while over a quarter (26%) can’t help but dance while they scrub.
What’s more, over a third of those surveyed (36%) say they carefully curate their cleaning playlists to match their mood, proving music is far more than just background noise. In fact, for some it turns the chore into a cherished ritual:37% find it makes the task more enjoyable, 40% say it boosts motivation, and 34% even call it a weekly highlight.
To celebrate the launch, method has joined forces with DJ powerhouse Sarah Story to put the deep house in deep house clean and drop the needle on grease and grime. Together, method and Sarah Story have curated six spray-lists for all types of deep cleans. Deep room clean? We got you. Deep focus clean? It’s covered. Deep Sunday clean? Tick. Simply scan the QR code on the back of any deep house clean bottle and press play. Cleaning never sounded so good.
DJ, Sarah Story, said:
“I’m delighted to announce my collaboration with method. I have curated six playlists to accompany different types of cleaning and turn everyday chores into something more uplifting, energising, and most importantly, dance-worthy. With the idea of ‘less housework more house party’ being at the core of their curation, I’ve designed each playlist to be a sonic mixture of energies and influences that I’ve collected in my record bag over the years. With the recent resurgence of Deep House music, this worked perfectly with the theme of the playlists – so press play, and get spraying.”
deep house clean joins method’s line-up of scent-sational trigger sprays, including its pink grapefruit, french lavender and wild rhubarb all purpose cleaners. Designed with the future in mind, the bottle is made from 100% post-consumer recycled plastic (excl. trigger) and is cruelty-free, helping homes smell great while being kinder to the planet.
deep house clean is available to purchase now in-store and online at Waitrose and online at Amazon.
