Multi-platinum alternative pop visionary Melanie Martinez has officially announced her highly anticipated 2026 tour, HADES: THE SACRIFICE, a global arena run supporting her upcoming fourth studio album HADES. Produced by Live Nation, the tour will kick off across North America and Mexico this summer before heading to the UK and Europe later in the year.
The announcement marks Martinez’s first major tour since her record-breaking 2024 run, which saw her sell out iconic venues including Madison Square Garden and The O2.
A New Era: Inside the ‘HADES’ Album Concept
Following its debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, HADES continues Martinez’s streak of Top 10 albums while landing at No. 1 on both the Alternative and Rock charts. The 18-track project dives into themes of identity, dystopia, and emotional fragmentation, further solidifying her reputation as one of alternative pop’s most imaginative storytellers.
In a statement, Martinez described the upcoming tour as her most ambitious yet:
“This tour is very different to anything I’ve done before… it’s immersive and cinematic, with practical elements and camera illusions.”
Immersive Performances and Fan-Led Rollout
The HADES era has been anything but conventional. Martinez introduced the album through a series of sold-out listening experiences in cities like London, Amsterdam, and Toronto, offering fans a fully immersive preview of her new sonic universe.
She later expanded the concept with intimate live shows in New York, Los Angeles, and Mexico City—complete with a full band and string section—blurring the line between concert and theatrical production.
Tonight, she will also perform her new track “POSSESSION” on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, giving fans another glimpse into the album’s aesthetic.

After wrapping the North American leg, Martinez will bring HADES: THE SACRIFICE to major arenas across Europe, including:
- Amsterdam – Ziggo Dome (Sept 9)
- London – The O2 (Sept 11)
- Manchester – Co-op Live (Sept 12)
- Paris – Accor Arena (Sept 15)
- Milan – Unipol Forum (Sept 17)
- Frankfurt – Festhalle Frankfurt (Sept 18)
Additional stops include Brussels, Krakow, Prague, and Hamburg.

I’ve never felt so tuned in to the ether while writing. I hope you can feel that these songs were written not only to reflect the world around us but to connect us through shared feelings of collective grief during these chaotic times. I could’ve written a 40 track album with how much there is to say on the current state of the world and how dystopian it all feels but I’m hoping these 18 tracks articulate even in the slightest what we all know and feel.
