Iceland Foods has announced the launch of a new scheme which offers all students a 10% discount in Iceland and The Food Warehouse stores throughout the month of May. The new discount has been introduced to help support students who are facing the first increase in tuition fees in eight years, with the average rise set to be £285.

Now ahead of the increase, Iceland Foods is introducing a new scheme that will see students receive 10% off purchases every Wednesday throughout May, as part of a limited time discount.

It couldn’t come at a better time either, with May being a popular time for university exams up and down the country.

Richard Walker, executive chairman at Iceland Foods, said:

“At Iceland and The Food Warehouse, we’re on a mission to do the right thing by our customers. This month, we know that cash-strapped students will be studying and completing their exams, so the last thing they need to be worrying about is food prices. That’s why we’re giving them 10% off in stores, every single Wednesday throughout May.”

To get their hands on the deal, all students need to do is head to Iceland or The Food Warehouse stores at any time on Wednesday 7th, 14th, 21st or 28th May and show their valid student ID to receive 10% off all items. Terms and conditions apply*.

In addition to offering 10% off for students, Iceland’s store located in The Leeds Merrion Shopping Centre, Leeds, LS2 8NG will also have a dedicated student aisle installed, featuring some of the most popular student favourite products, from Iceland’s £1 value range to popular ready meals.

Students are encouraged to head down from 7th May 2025 with the promotion running for one month, ending on 28th May. The first 10 students through the tills on 7th May 2025 will have the chance to get their hands on a Ninja CRISPI 4-in-1 portable glass air fryer. Terms and conditions apply**.
