Hamilton once again put the spotlight on the industry’s hidden heroes as the 2025 Hamilton Behind the Camera Awards returned to Hollywood on November 5th. The annual ceremony—created to honour the craftspeople who bring cinematic worlds to life—celebrated an exceptional year of filmmaking and the dedicated crews behind it.
Partnering once again with Variety, the event paid tribute to the editors, designers, directors, sound engineers, and creative teams who shape the films we love.
Honouring the Backbone of Hollywood
Hamilton’s connection to filmmaking runs deep. Known as the Watchmaker of Filmmakers, the brand has appeared in over 500 films and TV shows since first debuting in the 1932 classic Shanghai Express. From sci-fi icons like Men in Black and 2001: A Space Odyssey to modern epics including Oppenheimer, Hamilton’s timepieces have helped build characters and deepen storytelling on screen.
This year’s ceremony continued that tradition, honouring standout creatives whose work defined the year in cinema.
