It’s that time of year again; the time when everyone loudly exclaims that they can’t believe how Gamescom has crept up on them again, and everyone starts rushing to book their spots in front of what might be the Next Big Thing.
Well, dust off your diaries and take note, because we’ve got a whole host of pretty amazing things that you’ll definitely want to check out when you’re at the show. We haven’t listed them in order of how great they are. We love all of our children equally, of course.
Clear River Games
The team at Clear River Games has all manner of delightful titles for the discerning retro fans among us. You want iconic shmups? Got em. Bone crunching fighters? Say no more. Neon-soaked mayhem? It’s all yours.

G’AIM’E
The team at G’AIM’E has recently catapulted themselves into the limelight with the fantastic G’AIM’E Lightgun, designed in collaboration with Bandai Namco and their 30th Anniversary Edition of TIME CRISIS, the classic shooter game that is always top of mind when anyone ever thinks of shooting games. Their Kickstarter has reached more than TEN times its original ask, and it’s still going STRONG – a testament to just how much everyone wants Lightgun gaming back in their world.
If you’d like 30 minutes away from the show floor’s hustle and would like to try out the Lightgun with TIME CRISIS in a private press area, the team would love to chat to you about the gun’s design, and show you exactly how it works. Limited Run Games
We can’t tell you anything at all about this title. It’s a secret so very big that we’re risking our very lives and livelihoods even thinking about it as we type.
All we can tell you is that it’s a brand new game you haven’t seen or heard of before, and it’s absolutely vital that you check it out at the show – either at the Limited Run Games booth on the show floor, or by booking a private demo session in the Business Area.

You may not have heard of iMP Gaming before, but they’ve been making some of the best selling and well regarded gaming hardware here in the UK for decades now! iMP Gaming are new to us at Overload PR and we can’t wait to show you what they’ve been cooking.
iMP Gaming will be in full force, showcasing their brand new Nintendo Switch 2 product range as well as their legacy range of products for all platforms that continue to wow players, no matter their chosen game delivery system.
They will also be unveiling a whole host of new products at the show, leading with the astonishing Mini Arcade Pro Retro Game Cabinet, a totally unique accessory for your Switch or Switch 2, which utilises your console screen and transforms it into a genuine tabletop arcade machine!
