Over 100 people can experience the thrill of a Formula 1 simulator for free this weekend as F1 Arcade revs up to celebrate International Women’s Day.
With this year’s IWD theme fittingly being Accelerate Action, there’s no better way to embody this than by hitting the track at full speed and 120 women can accelerate themselves and race for free at both London and Birmingham F1 Arcade venues.
From 7th to 9th March, women will be able to take on some of the world’s most famous F1 courses on F1 Arcade’s state-of-the-art racing simulators at no cost, saving up to £23 per person.
Taking place at both London and Birmingham locations from 12pm-2pm, there’s no need to book with the event being walk-ins only. Spots will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis, so get there early to secure your place at the starting line.
As the motorsport world pushes for more inclusion – driven by a growing audience that’s now 40% women – F1 Arcade is on a mission to break down barriers and give women the chance to speed ahead. With recent months seeing more and more women getting behind the wheel at F1 Arcade bookings, the racing simulator is fired up to keep the momentum going and make the track more inclusive to women. This event is just one part of its ongoing commitment to championing women behind the wheel.
With no hidden fees, no booking requirements, and no strings attached, women will be able to test their skills on high-end simulators and feel the rush of competitive racing. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a first-timer, the event promises to deliver the ultimate rush of excitement!
This isn’t just about racing – it’s about breaking down barriers and empowering women to take control of the track. It’s an invitation to rewrite the rules, proving once and for all that speed and skill know no gender.
Diane Jervis, Global President & COO “Motorsports are an adrenaline-fueled world – we want to make sure that women feel empowered to step into the driver’s seat. With this, we’re thrilled to be celebrating International Women’s Day with this exciting racing event where women can race on us!”
“Creating an inclusive environment where women can experience the rush of racing is so important – but we also need to break down barriers in the process. We hope this event sparks a lasting passion for racing and helps to drive greater participation for women in motorsports.”
