Ella Boh’s “A MiLLiON DAGGERS” Explores Emotional Numbness
At the heart of “A MiLLiON DAGGERS” is the feeling of becoming completely desensitised after being let down too many times.
Explaining the inspiration behind the track, Ella Boh says:
“‘A MiLLiON DAGGERS’ is about being numb. When you’ve been let down so many times that you’ve become desensitized to it. It’s about missing the good emotions and even the bad while not being able to feel either anymore.”
The result is a track that combines danceable electronic production with a darker, more volatile edge. Distorted textures and intense production give the single a sense of danger, while Ella’s emotionally raw songwriting keeps the focus firmly on the experience behind the music.
It follows an increasingly ambitious run of releases from the artist, who has developed a distinctive space between alternative pop, dark pop and horror-inspired storytelling.
Alongside the single, Ella has released an official music video directed by Sophie Gallagher.
The horror-tinged visuals mirror the track’s frantic energy, creating another immersive chapter in Ella Boh’s growing creative universe.

Ella Boh’s BLURRY Tour Begins!
The release of “A MiLLiON DAGGERS” comes just as Ella begins her BLURRY headline tour.
The North American tour kicks off on September 30 in Evanston, Illinois, with Psylosia supporting along the way. Demand for the shows has already been significant, with performances in Los Angeles, New York City, Washington DC, Dallas and Denver selling out.
Shows in Pontiac, Toronto and Atlanta are also close to selling out, while Ella’s VIP meet-and-greet has sold out across the entire tour.

Following the North American dates, Ella will head to Europe for an extensive run supporting Artemas, taking in venues across France, Germany, Luxembourg, Switzerland, Spain, Italy, the Czech Republic, Poland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Belgium, the Netherlands and the UK.

UK fans will be able to catch Ella during the European leg, with dates scheduled for Edinburgh, Manchester, Birmingham and London in December.

From BLURRY DELUXE to “A MiLLiON DAGGERS”
Ella’s latest single follows the release of the BLURRY (DELUXE EP) via Bamboo Artists at the end of July.
The project marked another significant step in the artist’s development, with fan-favourite tracks including “SERiAL KiLLER”, “BLOODY MARY” and “PRETTY BABY” helping establish the darker direction of her current era.
The BLURRY DELUXE EP has now surpassed 12.4 million Spotify streams, while Ella’s wider catalogue has accumulated more than 75 million global lifetime streams.
The project has also generated more than 400,000 playlist adds, over one million listeners and more than 14,000 pre-saves, alongside international editorial support and live dates with artists including Artemas and Ari Abdul.
