Strike a pose! Madame Tussauds London has unveiled its first-ever figure of global fashion powerhouse Edward Enninful OBE, cementing his status as one of the most influential voices in contemporary style.
The figure, revealed just one week ahead of London Fashion Week, celebrates Enninful’s transformative impact on fashion, culture and identity. It marks a major cultural moment for the capital, as the Baker Street attraction welcomes the Founder and Chief Creative Officer of EE72 to its iconic Fashion Runway zone.
Edward Enninful Joins the Madame Tussauds Fashion Runway
Behind-the-scenes footage shows Enninful coming face-to-face with his wax likeness after months of meticulous craftsmanship by the attraction’s studio artists. He was joined for the unveiling by close friend and trans rights activist Tiara Skye, who helped give the final seal of approval.
Styled by Enninful himself, the figure is immortalised in a timeless black two-piece suit, crisp white dress shirt and black lace-up shoes — all donated by the fashion icon. The tailored look reflects his signature aesthetic: sharp, refined and effortlessly modern.
Speaking on the launch, Enninful said:
“Madame Tussauds is an iconic global institution and such a special part of London’s cultural fabric; it’s a real honour for me to have a new home within the attraction’s legendary four walls which are visited by people from all over the world. Working closely with their talented team of artists and watching them at work has been a real privilege. The result is a testament to the exceptional skill and craftsmanship that lives at the heart of Madame Tussauds, and I am incredibly proud of the final result.”
Visitors can see the figure from Monday 16 February 2026, with copies of 72 Magazine displayed alongside it throughout February — offering fans a deeper insight into Enninful’s latest creative venture.

From Ladbroke Grove to Global Fashion Authority
Born in Ghana and raised in Ladbroke Grove, West London, Enninful’s rise to fashion prominence is a story of vision, resilience and boundary-breaking creativity.
At just 18, he became Fashion Director at i-D Magazine — the youngest fashion editor at a major international publication. He later held senior editorial roles at W Magazine before making history as Editor-in-Chief of British Vogue, where he championed diversity, representation and inclusive storytelling through landmark covers and campaigns.
Awarded an OBE in 2016 for services to diversity in fashion, Enninful has consistently reshaped the industry’s cultural narrative.
In 2025, he co-founded EE72 with his sister Akua, launching 72 Magazine the same year — a new platform dedicated to storytelling across fashion, art and global culture.
A Perfect Addition to London’s Cultural Icons
Steve Blackburn, General Manager at Madame Tussauds London, described Enninful as “fashion’s leading man” and a natural addition to the attraction’s line-up of global stars.
“From Ladbroke Grove to the top of the global style scene, he’s always used his platform to inspire change,” Blackburn said. “It’s been a real privilege to work so collaboratively, and it’s been great to see Edward swap roles from being behind the camera to standing in front of it.”
The timing couldn’t be more fitting. As London prepares to take centre stage for London Fashion Week 2026, Enninful’s wax debut reinforces the capital’s reputation as a powerhouse of creativity and cultural leadership.
