The wait is almost over for fans of high-stakes espionage drama, as Citadel is officially back. Amazon MGM Studios has confirmed that all seven episodes of the new season will drop on Wednesday, 6th May 2026, exclusively on Prime Video across more than 240 countries and territories.
Alongside the announcement, an adrenaline-fuelled official trailer has been released, teasing even bigger action, deeper conspiracies, and a dangerous new global threat.
A Global Spy Story With Higher Stakes Than Ever
The new season picks up with elite operatives Mason Kane, Nadia Sinh, and Bernard Orlick—played by Richard Madden, Priyanka Chopra Jonas, and Stanley Tucci—as they are forced back into action.
After the fall of the independent spy agency Citadel, the trio must confront Manticore, a powerful and shadowy organisation backed by the world’s most influential families. With a new threat emerging that could reshape humanity, the team must assemble a fresh group of operatives and launch a globe-spanning mission filled with deception, betrayal, and high-risk combat.
