Flytime Promotions has unveiled the next wave of stars for its highly anticipated December 2025 season — and the line-up once again proves why Lagos remains one of the world’s most influential music cities. Afrobeats sensation Asake and UK rap heavyweight Central Cee are officially locked in, joining a roster that places African and global talent at the centre of end-of-year entertainment.
Central Cee Becomes First Confirmed Headliner for Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged
British rap star Central Cee will headline Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged on 21 December, making him the first artist confirmed for Flytime’s flagship concert. Now in its 21st year, Rhythm Unplugged is West Africa’s longest-running and most iconic live music event — a stage that has introduced breakthrough acts and hosted global heavyweights.
For readers new to the Flytime ecosystem, Rhythm Unplugged has previously welcomed stars like Wizkid, Burna Boy, Tiwa Savage, Ayra Starr, Gunna, Megan Thee Stallion, Roddy Ricch, and Boyz II Men. Few stages rival its impact on shaping African music culture.
Asake Joins Flytime Fest on Christmas Eve
Meanwhile, Afrobeats powerhouse Asake will headline Flytime Fest powered by Coca-Cola on 24 December. He joins previously announced stars Flavour (22 December) and Davido, who will close the festival on Christmas Day, 25 December.
Across four nights, Flytime Fest will spotlight the artists defining the sound of contemporary Afrobeats — from Flavour’s highlife mastery to Davido’s global chart success and Asake’s unmistakable fusion of Yoruba songwriting and genre-bending melodies.
Flytime Promotions: A Historic Platform for Afrobeats’ Global Rise
As Afrobeats continues to soar — with Spotify streams up 28% in 2024 and more than 550% since 2017 — Flytime Promotions remains one of the genre’s earliest and most consistent champions. Long before Afrobeats found worldwide mainstream success, Flytime provided the stage that nurtured its biggest names.
With one more Flytime Fest headliner still to be announced, plus the full Rhythm Unplugged line-up under wraps, 2025 is shaping up to be one of the series’ most exciting years yet.

“A Celebration of Music, Culture and Creativity”
Flytime Promotions’ leadership emphasises that 2025 will raise the bar once again.
Cecil Hammond, Founder & CEO of Flytime, said:
“Coca-Cola Rhythm Unplugged has always been about more than music — it reflects how far African entertainment has come and where it’s heading next. What began as one platform has grown into Flytime Fest, a celebration of music, culture, and creativity.”
Keke Hammond, COO of Flytime, added:
“Flytime has earned its place on the global entertainment map because we never stop pushing the standard for what live experiences from Africa can be. This December, we’re raising that standard again.”
Lagos in December: The Heart of African Nightlife
Since 2004, Flytime Promotions has helped solidify Lagos’ reputation as a high-energy global destination each December — pairing world-class production with electric performances and an atmosphere unmatched anywhere on the continent.
The company has long been known for staging artists early in their trajectory, spotlighting names like Asake, Davido, Olamide, Ayra Starr, and Wizkid before their international fame exploded.
