K-pop phenomenon aespa have officially released their highly anticipated second studio album, LEMONADE, marking their first full-length project since 2024’s chart-topping Armageddon.
Released via SM Entertainment, the 10-track album showcases aespa’s signature futuristic sound while pushing their musical identity into bold new territory. Fans can stream the album via official platforms here and watch the official music video for the title track on the group’s official YouTube channels.
‘LEMONADE’ Delivers aespa’s Biggest Sound Yet
The album’s lead single, LEMONADE, is a high-energy electronic dance anthem packed with pulsating synths and infectious hooks. Inspired by the popular phrase “When life gives you lemons, make lemonade,” the track transforms adversity into empowerment, delivering a message of resilience through aespa’s distinctive sonic universe.
A special digital version of the song also features Latin pop superstar Becky G, adding an extra layer of summer-ready energy to the release.
The album follows the group’s acclaimed run of hits including Supernova, Armageddon and Whiplash, while introducing fresh influences spanning hyperpop, pop-rock, R&B and electronic dance music.
G-DRAGON and Ty Dolla $ign Join the Party
One of the album’s standout moments arrives with WDA (Whole Different Animal), a fierce collaboration featuring K-pop icon G-DRAGON. The track helped launch a new era for aespa ahead of the album’s release and quickly became a fan favourite.
Elsewhere, Switchblade sees the quartet team up with Ty Dolla $ign on a sleek electronic dance production built around themes of adaptability and strength.
Other highlights include the confident dance track SHAKIN’, the emotionally charged Can’t Help Myself, and the hyperpop-inspired Camouflage, which explores identity and self-preservation through aespa’s evolving narrative world.
A More Emotional Side of aespa
While LEMONADE thrives on explosive production and larger-than-life energy, it also reveals a more vulnerable side to the group.
The album closes with ’Til We Die, a soaring pop-rock anthem dedicated to fans, with members Karina, Winter, Giselle and Ningning expressing gratitude and loyalty to their global fanbase.
According to the group, the album represents a more mature chapter in aespa’s artistic evolution while maintaining the futuristic storytelling and world-building that has defined their rise since debut.
