When Spring arrives, the sun warms up, flowers begin to blossom, and birds begin to sing gleefully! It’s one of the best times to appreciate Mother Nature and everything she has to give. Here are the 5 places you have to visit or see this springtime.
Visiting one of these travel destinations would feel like you’re on cloud 9 with a sigh of relief. Or maybe it would feel like a simple Coral Casino bonus if you’re not into anything too fantasy-like.
1. Goldfield Mountains, Arizona (USA)
Hiking the majestic Goldfield mountains will make you feel at one with nature. Hiking Goldfield is an accomplishment in and of itself. The summits of the mountains are normally only accessible to the most experienced hikers. There are, however, many enjoyable treks to be had.
2. Mount Fuji, Honshu Island (Japan)
Seeing Japan bathed in a carpet of rich pink petals during cherry blossom season is a sight to see. Japan’s Mount Fuji is among the most well-known mountains globally.
Mount Fuji is a stratovolcano or composite cone. Layers of rock, ash, and lava make up composite cones created by intense eruptions with a height of 3,776 meters. It is a live volcano sitting on a tectonic “triple junction” where the Amurian plate (connected with the Eurasian tectonic plate).
The Okhotsk plate (related to the North American plate) and the Philippine plate intersect under Mount Fuji. Tokyo, Japan’s capital and largest metropolis, is only 100 kilometers (62 miles) away.
If you’re interested in learning more about Mount Fuji, you can read more about it on the National Geographic website.
3. Keukenhof Gardens, Amsterdam (Netherlands)
The Garden of Europe, often known as Keukenhof, is the world’s biggest flower garden. Walk across 80 acres of well-kept grass and 7 million flowers to enter a colorful fantasy! The greatest time to visit is in the spring when the flowers are in full bloom. Other visitors agree. Many people advocate visiting the gardens early in the morning to avoid congestion.
4. Corbridge, Northumberland (England)
While walking along the cobblestone streets of Corbridge in the spring, you’ll notice that this peaceful town comes alive. The weather is becoming warmer, the pub gardens are filling up, and the tea rooms are buzzing with activity. Certainly, you can’t miss out on the fun offered here!
5. Barcelona, Spain
Spring is the best time to visit the Flower Market on La Rambla, Barcelona’s famous promenade. Returning visitors will be amazed at how much work has gone into architect Antoni Gaud’s religious commission. Since 1882, the Sagrada Familia has been under construction.
Here, you will find a beautiful church, famed for its 18 sandcastle-like spires, undulating lines, and spectacular stained glass windows, which is expected to be finished by 2030, as near Gaudi’s original vision as possible.
