WILSON UNVEILS NEW MARTA DRESS FOR WIMBLEDON 2026 INSPIRED BY TENNIS, FASHION AND PERFORMANCE!

As Wimbledon 2026 gets underway, Wilson has officially revealed the second edition of the Marta Dress, continuing its creative partnership with Ukrainian tennis star Marta Kostyuk.

Following the huge success of the original Marta Dress in 2024—which sold out worldwide and was later added to the Wimbledon Museum—the latest version blends cutting-edge sportswear technology with high-fashion aesthetics, once again placing athlete collaboration at the heart of the design.

The limited-edition collection launched globally on 27 June 2026 and is available through Wilson’s official website and selected retail stores.

Inspired by a Wedding Dress That Became Tennis History

The story behind the Marta Dress is unlike any other piece of tennis apparel.

Originally inspired by Kostyuk’s custom Wilson-designed wedding gown, the first Marta Dress quickly became one of the most talked-about outfits at Wimbledon in 2024. Its popularity extended beyond Centre Court, earning a place inside the Wimbledon Museum as one of the tournament’s most memorable fashion moments.

Rather than simply recreate the original, Wilson and Kostyuk have evolved the concept into a fresh design while preserving the elegance that made it instantly recognisable.

Marta Kostyuk said:

“To have a dress named after me, that was envisioned by me, feels absolutely surreal. Working with the Wilson team, especially Joelle, has been nothing short of amazing—I am able to help create looks that not only look beautiful, but are meant to perform on-court.”

Designed for Elite Competition

Unlike traditional one-piece tennis dresses, the new Marta Dress features a sophisticated three-piece system consisting of:

  • Performance bra
  • Technical vest
  • Lightweight skirt

Wilson has also incorporated intricate lace detailing over a durable four-way stretch performance fabric, creating an elegant appearance without sacrificing mobility or durability during competition.

According to Wilson, every aspect of the garment was developed through close collaboration with Kostyuk, ensuring that performance remained the priority while allowing her personal style to shine through.

Athlete-Led Design at the Centre of Wilson’s Vision

Wilson says the project represents its athlete-first philosophy, giving players a genuine voice throughout the creative process rather than simply wearing pre-designed apparel.

Chief Creative Officer Joelle Michaeloff described Kostyuk as Wilson’s “sportswear muse” since the partnership began in 2023.

She added:

“What we’ve been able to create together is truly special, blending premium performance materials with fashion-forward silhouettes. Her resilience on and off the court is inspiring.”

The partnership has become one of the most distinctive collaborations in modern tennis apparel, helping Wilson strengthen its growing reputation within premium sportswear.

Limited Release Available Now

The Marta Dress officially launched on 27 June 2026 in limited quantities worldwide.

The collection retails for $198 USD and is available via Wilson’s official online store alongside selected Wilson retailers.

With tennis fashion continuing to influence mainstream style, the new Marta Dress is expected to attract both tennis enthusiasts and fashion fans alike—especially after the original edition became one of the sport’s standout apparel releases.
