Where To Go Now: Pride Festivals and Vacations Around The World

Planning a trip to celebrate Pride this month? We at Verge have you covered with all the major happenings and places to go this summer to get your Pride freak on.

June is here, which means pride month begins. In commemoration of the 50th Anniversary of the Stonewall riots in June of 1969, pride events, parades and festivals are happening all over the globe to celebrate LGBTQ+ people and create visibility for the community.

Pride Themed Vacations: Gay Cruises

Hoping for a way to travel to multiple Prides this summer without the annoying downtime associated with travel. Look no further than Atlantis Events, the leader in all-gay vacations. An LGBTQ+ travel company that pairs up with some of the world’s most well-loved and traveled cruise lines like Royal Caribbean and NCL to create the most fabulous Pride experiences.

The Atlantis website says, “We create a gay vacation environment and experience so unexpectedly special, in so many ways, that you have to try it to fully understand why our guests often call it ‘The Best Vacation They’ve Ever Had’.”

Also, these cruises feature a usual population of 50 percent of the passengers on board traveling alone or single. So, singles don’t beware, we at Verge assume you’ll be just fine with all those other single passengers ready to… well… that’s up to you.
