We visited the MCM Comic Con in London for the third time this year, and we can confidently state that the amount of care and design that goes into the spectacular event never fails to disappoint, especially with such a wonderful community and exquisite cosplay outfits. Before we get into what the well-known event has to offer, let us first address a question for those who haven’t heard of it: what exactly is the MCM?
What is MCM Comic Con?
MCM Comic Con is an bi-annual convention that takes place in London in May and October. Celebrating and appreciating pop culture at its best, like comic novels, anime, fantasy games, and science fiction are fan favourites. It’s a large event with over 200,000 attendees, held in the Excel London rooms where all the magic unfolds.
MCM Comic Con has a wide range of great items available for purchase, including Anime DVDs and Manga series, figurines, plushies, Doujinshi, Artbooks, and practically everything else you think oof which would be possible to buy! There are also several food establishments to try, including desserts, some of which are video game themed making it more creative and interesting.
Cos-play
The ability to costume up as your favourite character from any comic book series, anime, or video game is one of the most enjoyable aspects about attending MCM Comic Con. Whatever your passion, you may express yourself freely, no one will condemn you, and you’ll feel right at home thanks to the amazing array of imaginative cosplay outfits that the community have put together.
We heartily urge anyone reading this who is thinking about going to MCM Comic Con to do so. It’s an enjoyable experience with lots of chances for meeting with cosplayers and voice actors as well as other celebrities and you can even make new friends who share the same passion as you.
