Mixing a double shot of personality with a liberal twist of style, Archer Street SW11 brings an exciting new cocktail bar experience to South West London’s vibrant Northcote Road.
From the founders of the original and phenomenally popular Archer Street in Soho, the venue between Clapham and leafy Battersea blends knock-out style and decadent drinking with the all-important USP: live music and dance from professionally trained West End performers. Providing unforgettable evenings right through the week, Archer Street entertainment is all about classic pop and disco performances – and even dancing on the tables.
An experiential destination bar which has been carefully designed to support the local area and economy, Archer Street SW11has two distinct spaces: a stylish ground floor cocktail bar with elegant glass windows, relaxing sofas, bright prints and neatly contrasting muted greys. On the lower ground floor, the themed Myki Beach Shackbar is a real head-turner. Transporting revellers to one of the Med’s sexiest hotspots, its beachy vibe conjures up sun-soaked days and balmy nights in party mecca Mykonos. With no detail spared, co-owner Sian Parry Jones has sourced raw materials – think natural hessian, rattan and distressed woods, along with a sprinkling of Aztec-style prints and cottons for the stripped-back fixtures and fittings.
As you’d expect from the Archer Street team, the cocktail menu has been crafted by super-skilled mixologists, and the bar offering is overseen by award-winning Benji Purslow. Meanwhile, Archer Street venues are the exclusive UK partner with Billecart-Salmon – one of the few remaining family-owned and run Champagne houses.
In a nod to the quality of the local culinary scene, Archer Street SW11 is also establishing enterprising partnerships with Northcote Road suppliers, who will provide a custom-made Archer Street cheese and charcuterie board.
With a capacity of 250 people in the cocktail bar and 120 in Myki Beach Shack, Archer Street SW11is now open. It’ll be theplace for an unforgettable night out. Doors open at 2pmon weekends, making it the essential post-brunch hangout for friends and family.
