Music broadcaster Boiler Room has teamed up with Beefeater Gin as part of a new global event series, “System Restart”, which will broadcast local artists from two of the UK’s leading musical hubs— London & Bristol.
The System Restart broadcasts will take place virtually from two of the city’s most striking venues— Wilton’s Music Hall & Bristol Museum & Art Gallery— incorporating industry leading health and safety measures and in compliance with local government guidelines
Both events will feature performances by some of the UK’s most exciting talent and will be broadcast online to millions worldwide on boilerroom.tv
Kicking off in Bristol on 27th November, followed by London on the 28th November; the events will feature sets and performances by some of the UK’s best up and coming new talent including Giant Swan, Jabu, Withdrawn & Birthmark and Alamay & Skiimsk performing in Bristol and Che Lingo, RADA, Haich Ber Nia and BINA performing in London.
Following local UK government guidelines, both events will be available to view digitally on boilerroom.tv and will follow strict measures to ensure the safety of acts, including Covid-19 tests for all artists and crews, Venue deep cleaning and PPE will also be provided at each event, as well as monitoring and enforcement of social distancing and local regulations.
The impact of Covid-19 is still being felt by the nightlife industry and the project – which forms part of a bigger partnership with leading wine, spirits and champagne supplier, Pernod Ricard and will be supported by four of the company’s best-known brands Absolut, Ballantine’s, Beefeater and Jameson – will be the first of its kind using local DJs and collectives to renew club culture during the pandemic.
As well as supporting music artists and venues through the production of the broadcasts themselves, the project will also raise awareness and donations for musicvenuetrust.comwhilst also committing 15% of Boiler Room merchandise revenue sold during the broadcasts to the charity.
To bring the bar experience to life for attendees, Beefeater is offering limited-edition Beefeater x Boiler Room cocktails, which can be pre-ordered to arrive chilled ahead of the broadcast to enjoy at home with friends and family. There are three fresh ready-to-drink options; Beefeater Collins, Beefeater Bramble and Beefeater Raspberry Floradora, which can be purchased via Cocktail Market at £5 per cocktail. Attendees will also be given the option to make a further donation to musicvenuetrust.com with each purchase made.
