What to wear now: The North Face

The North Face announced the introduction of a new team, one designed for explorers everywhere. From script writers and game changers to trail runners and powder chasers, The North Explorer Team is open to you.

In a year of change and uncertainty, the power of exploration has remained, with people everywhere uniting by a belief that we can and should do better. As we look towards a new normal, The North Face is calling on all those who can inspire positive change and transform the face of exploration.

From groundbreakers to wave makers, the Explorer Team will be made up of passionate and talented individuals with a platform to inspire others. So whether you’re a local climbing guru, a determined environmental activisit or a wizard behind the lens, The North Face would like to hear from you.

With the aim of creating the world’s largest, most inclusive and diverse team of explorers, the team drive already begun. Singer, songwriter and global star Jess Glynne is just one of a creative and talented team of individuals, including snowboarder David Babacar Djité, photographer and summit conqueror Emma Svensson, London based photographer Lamarr Golding and Coventry based rapper Jay1.

Explorer Team members will get early access to the latest The North Face collections, be invited to work on innovative campaigns and offered the opportunity to connect with the athlete team to realise new projects.

For The North Face VP Marketing, Tina Rolen, it’s the next step forward for the brand. “The Explorer Team will enable us to connect with a truly diverse group of individuals and harness their collective power to change the way we work and help us find our brand voice to inspire the next generation of explorers during this challenging time”.
