To celebrate their 40th anniversary, Stüssy has invited a group of designers to create on their canvas, the classic Stüssy World Tour t-shirt. Rick Owens, Martine Rose, Takahiro Miyashita, Marc Jacobs, and Virgil Abloh all represent different cities & communities that have inspired Stüssy. Each brings a different perspective, sensibility, and intention that juxtaposes with time tested Stüssy design language. Stüssy will donate a portion of the net proceeds from each t-shirt to a charitable organization of the designer’s choosing.
Martine Rose has chosen the charity St Giles, The Pantry. The Pantry is a food hub with a difference. It provides low cost, high quality and healthy food to those struggling to feed themselves and their families, those held back by poverty, addiction and mental health, who are being disproportionately affected by the pandemic.
It couples healthy food with expert advice and personal support from trained professionals who have all been in similar situations to the people they are helping. They help build confidence and resilience and empower people to overcome the barriers they face, breaking the cycle of poverty.
The Stüssy World Tour Collection will be available in Chapter Stores, Dover Street Market and stussy.com on Friday November 20th at 10am
If you don’t get your hands on the t-shirt you can still support this amazing charity by Texting PANTRY of 70460 to donate £5. Further details can be found athttps://www.stgilestrust.org.uk/
