What to wear now: ADIDAS 4D

Adidas celebrates three years of ADIDAS 4D innovation with the first 4D Week. Each day from May 4, adidas.com will shine a light on one ground-breaking 4D model which has helped reinvent running sneaker culture, finishing with the launch of the new 4D Run 1.0 on May 8.

Produced in partnership with California-based firm Carbon, ADIDAS 4D is the first footwear made with light and oxygen on a 3D printing machine, unlocking the ability to create bespoke performance products for athletes and individuals at pace and scale.

Most recently, the partnership between adidas and Carbon has seen the two brands redirect their efforts to rapidly produce 3D-printed face shields in response to the global COVID-19 pandemic.
