What To Eat Now: Miso Tasty’s new Katsu Curry Meal Kit

THE KAT-SU is out of the bag. The most authentic Japanese curry outside of Japan is now hitting UK supermarket shelves, thanks to Japanese home-cooking brand Miso Tasty.

After undergoing a rigorous development process that has spanned over 100 recipe trials and multiple trips to Japan to source high quality ingredients, Miso Tasty has finally launched its Katsu Curry Kits with Sainsbury’s and Ocado this November.

Fans of this No.1 dish from Japanese restaurants will be excited to finally be able to recreate it at home.

The new kit comes after Miso Tasty saw an influx of fans calling for the dish on social media.  Serving two people, it contains everything you need for the perfect katsu curry, including panko breadcrumbs and the brand’s secret recipe curry sauce – all you need to add is your choice of veg, tofu or chicken and protein and serve with rice. What’s more, unlike many similar products on the market, it contains no nasty ingredients like MSG.

Miso Tasty’s new Katsu Curry Meal Kit is available in Sainsbury’s stores across the UK and online at Ocado from 10 November 2019 and costs £2.49.
