What to drive now: Honda CR-V

With the whole country taking UK holidays this year, we were lucky enough to get to try out the brand new Honda CR-V as we drove through the English countryside towards the coast for our break. Taking the whole family and practically everything we own, we managed to get suitcases, food, a scooter, buggy and a paddling pool in the boot whilst we all enjoyed a very comfortable journey with a great sound system to keep us entertained in the main car.

The world’s best-selling* SUV has been refined, reimagined and redesigned. The result is a unique blend of bold, distinctive looks and advanced engineering.

The exterior is stylish and feels prominent on the road whilst the interior offered easy access for both the driver and the front passenger to play with the 7-inch touchscreen system with sat-nav, DAB digital radio, Bluetooth, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

The drive was smooth with great visibility you got from sitting fairly high of the ground. The Hybrid model we were driving is super quiet when running on electricity, but the 2.0-litre petrol engine kicks in when you need that extra push like overtaking on the motorway. It was incredibly fuel-efficient, meaning we didn’t need to fuel up for the whole week.
