Coca-Cola Great Britain has announced a brand-new campaign for 2021, ‘Open To Better’. Transforming its iconic packaging to feature a host of positive pledges that people can purchase in store and personalise online.
With limited-edition packs of Coca-Cola Original Taste, Coca-Cola zero sugar and Diet Coke available in stores nationwide, each pack will offer fans a chance to share positive and inspiring messages with friends and family. Plus, in addition to buying packs in-store, people will also be given the unique opportunity to purchase a personalised can via a new online-store in Great Britain.
Lending their support to the campaign, Premier League ambassadors Marcus Rashford MBE and Alex Scott MBE as well as Laura Whitmore and AJ & Curtis Pritchard have shared positive pledges for the new year which are available on the cans, with Marcus Rashford commenting, ‘I will never take your support for granted’.
Laura Whitmore, who shared the statement, ‘I will never take my girls for granted’ said, “I want to be Open To Better this year and to go into it with positivity. My pledge is to the women who drive me, inspire me and who support me through thick and thin. I have been lucky enough to know incredible women and I want to cherish them and keep them close to me. My pledge for the new year is to never take my girls for granted.”
TV personality and dancer, AJ Pritchard commented, “Curtis is my brother and best mate. We have spent more time together recently than ever before and while we have driven each other mad at times, I appreciate him so much. I want to make a pledge to him to say that I will always make time for us moving forward.”
Sharing his own resolution for the new year, Curtis Pritchard said,“I am not an easy person to live with! I must drive my poor brother mad sometimes. I’m a notoriously messy person, so I am making a pledge to my brother, AJ, to promise him that I will try my best to clean my act up – and our flat!”
The Open To Better campaign is part of a wider platform for Coca-Cola, which has been ongoing since July 2020. The brand launched a bold new campaign ‘Open Like Never Before’ last summer with an advert featuring George The Poet. The brand also recently announced its partnership with Katy Perry for her new track “Resilient” feat.
