What to drink now: Bank Holiday Weekend!

The long weekend has begun! Here are our top drinks to help enjoy the last bank holiday for 4 months!

Kopparberg Cider

Kopparberg’s cider is full of taste and sure to whet your appetite this summer. Sip on the classic Kopparberg flavours, such as Strawberry & Lime and Mixed Fruit and make Kopparberg cider your go-to drink for picnics in the park.

Cutting down on alcohol? Kopparberg’s popular cider flavours can also be purchased in Alcohol-Free variants.

Buffalo Trace

Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is distilled, aged and bottled at the most award-winning distillery in the world.

Made from the finest corn, rye and barley malt, this whiskey ages in new oak barrels for years in century-old warehouses until the peak of maturity. The taste is rich and complex, with hints of vanilla, toffee and candied fruit.

Kopparberg Gin

You can’t go wrong with a G&T in the sunshine, so indulge in one of Kopparberg’s three flavoured gins: Strawberry & Lime, Mixed Fruit or Passionfruit & Orange. Fancy a drink on the go? Kopparberg’s pre-mixed Strawberry & Lime gin and lemonade will do the trick, and make sure you’re the envy of all your friends at your next social gathering.

Bourbon Cream

Bourbon Cream is handcrafted using Buffalo Trace Kentucky Straight Bourbon, making it a perfect marriage of rich delicious cream and smooth Kentucky bourbon. You can enjoy it chilled, on the rocks, or pour it in a cup of coffee for an indulgent after-dinner treat. For the ultimate Christmas cocktail try the Buffalo Float made with Bourbon Cream*.

Eagle Rare

At 45 per cent ABV, Eagle Rare is smoother than some of the alternatives to boot. As soon as you pour a glass, you’re enveloped with aromas of toffee, honey, leather, oak, herbs and orange peel. Masterfully crafted and aged in oak barrels for no less than 10 years, Eagle Rare boasts a complex array of flavours, offering a distinct taste experience. The recommended serving of Eagle Rare is the Revolver cocktail*.

Kopparberg Cherry Rum

Get your night in (or out!) started the right way, with the newest addition to the Kopparberg family, and their first foray into the rum market: introducing Kopparberg Cherry Rum. As the energy picks up and the music comes alive, Kopparberg Cherry Rum is the ideal drink to take you from those warm summer evenings straight into the night – whether it’s served over ice with cola or as part of a cocktail.

Bloody’ell (Blood Orange IPA 5.5%)

A smack of citrus with hints of warm blood orange aromas brought on by refined malt bill and loads of juicy hops. All hail Bloody ‘Ell!

Hard Seltzer

Kopparberg’s Hard Seltzers are anything but subtle, boasting three bold fruit flavours: Passionfruit, Black Cherry and Mixed Berries. Set to be the drink of the summer, Kopparberg Hard Seltzer has just 93 calories, is vegan friendly and gluten free. Hard seltzers don’t have to be bland and tasteless, so pick up your can for a drink with fewer calories but all of the taste.

Neck Oil (Session IPA 4.3%)

This started life as a home-brew. We wanted to create a light, crisp, punchy, go to beer! A beer that you know you can pick up and appreciate or simply kick back, relax and oil your neck with (the name Neck Oil comes from our founder, Logan, fondly remembering his Grandad stating that he was “off down the pub for a pint of neck oil”).Extra pale base malts are used to keep it crisp and give the hops a great platform to dance on. Masses of hop additions during the whirlpool and a huge dose of dry hops make this a brilliantly ‘easy’ IPA.

Beavertown Passion Phantom

Beavertown Brewery have launched Passion Phantom, a limited-edition Passionfruit Berliner Weisse that perfectly complements the sweet sounds of summer. Passion Phantom is a true, tart, joy. Brewed with Extra Pale Barley and Malted Wheat to a thirst quenching 3.5%, then kettle soured with Lactobacillus and infused with piles of Passionfruit puree. Think fresh kombucha style sourness with a sticky, ripe passionfruit hit to create a beer that will have your tongue tingling in that ultimate “ahh” moment. Short, sharp and hypnotically sweet are the captivating chords that Passion Phantom plays. Island vibes, like incantations, spiriting you away to a tropical island paradise of pure, puckering refreshment.

Gamma Ray (American Pale Ale 5.4%)

The concept was to create a juicy tropical beer. A brew you can sit on and drink all day, rammed with juicy malts and huge tropical aromas of mango and grapefruit. Massive additions of American hops are added to the whirlpool giving huge hop flavour. The beer is then dry hopped for days, driving the punchy aromas so you can smell it from miles away!

Beavo (Larger 4.4%)

It came from an infatuation and obsession with creating an easy-drinking, super-premium lager inspired by German and Czech pilsners. Perfected over 2 years of trials under the PilsNERD Moniker, Beavo is a light, crisp, smashable, sessionable beer packed with lightly kilned pilsner malt, bright and floral noble German hops and fermented with a traditional German lager yeast. No bony phoney baloney, just Dead. Good. Lager.

Lupuloid (IPA 6.7%)

LUPULOID IPA, a 6.7% ABV India Pale Ale. The most notable thing is that it is our first straight up IPA, no funny business, just malt, yeast, water and hops. Lots of hops. I guess it only took us four years!
