We are presenting Bacardi’s top summer cocktails and RTDs to get you in the mood because there are two bank holidays coming up.
From Bombay Sapphire’s unique Royal Toast drink with a coronation theme to St-Germain’s ideal sharing spritz. If you live in London, we’ve also put up a list of fantastic pubs you should check out this weekend.
Bombay Sapphire Royal Toast
Ingredients:
- 25ml Bombay Sapphire Gin
- 25ml pineapple cordial
- 25ml Martini Fiero vermouth
Recipe:
To make the pineapple cordial:
- Cut the bottom, top and skin off a pineapple and slice it into 2-inch slices. Grill the pineapple for around five minutes, turning regularly, then cut into chunks.
- ·Separately, make a 1:1 sugar syrup by combining 250ml water and 250g sugar on a low heat.
- Combine the sugar syrup and pineapple chunks in a mason jar or similar sealed container and leave to infuse for 24 to 48 hours. Strain the syrup through a tea strainer and bottle it. (It will keep for three to five days.)
To build the cocktail, combine all the ingredients, shake and strain into a glass. Garnish with a corner of toast and jam.
Bank Holiday Cocktails – St-Germain Spritz to Share
Ingredients:
- 9 oz St-Germain
- 12 oz Martini prosecco
- 12 oz Sparkling water
- Lemon peel for zesting
Recipe:
- Pour the St-Germain, sparkling wine and sparkling water into your vessel of choice.
- Give the drink a good stir to combine all of the ingredients.
- Pour over ice into your highball / spritz glass.
- Garnish with a lemon zest.
Grey Goose Strawberry & Lemongrass
Ingredients:
- 50ml Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass
- 150ml Soda Water
- Fresh Strawberries
- Lemongrass
- Lemon Twist
Recipe:
- Fill a chilled glass with cubed ice and add Grey Goose Essences Strawberry & Lemongrass.
- Top with soda water.
- Then simply garnish with lemongrass, fresh strawberry, and a lemon twist.
Bombay Sapphire Citron Pressé and Tonic
Ingredients:
- 50ml (5cl) Bombay Citron Pressé
- 100ml (10cl) premium tonic water (preferably Fever-Tree)
- Lemon wedge squeezed and dropped in (garnish).
Recipe:
- Build over cubed ice, stir. Garnish and serve.
Bacardi Mojito
Ingredients:
- 50 ml Bacardi Carta Blanca Rum
- 25ml Lime juice
- 12 Mint leaves
- 2tsp Extra fine sugar
- 25ml Soda water
Recipe:
- Build over cubed ice in a highball
- Mix in freshly awoken mint leaves
Tails Rum Daiquiri
Ingredients:
- 125ml Tails Rum Daiquiri
- ICE
Recipe:
- Pour 125ml of Tails Rum Daiquiri into a shaker filled with ice, shake well and strain into glass
Grey Goose Essences Strawberry Spritz
