WALKERS CHANGE THE SHAPE OF BRITAIN’S MOST LOVED CRISP BY GROWING HEART-SHAPED POTATOES

Marking its 75th anniversary as Britain’s most loved crisp brand, Walkers shares the love with a brand-new look as the traditional round potato crisp becomes heart-shaped, forever!

The world-first innovation has been made possible after two years of experimentation with a leading Walkers potato grower, who took its naturally grown and sustainably sourced heart-shaped potatoes and cultivated them into a new variety.

Harvested from the first-ever heart-shaped potato farm in the UK, based in Lincolnshire, the new shaped crisps are made by slicing the heart-shaped potatoes before cooking them to perfection and seasoning with Walkers’ delicious flavours. This is a game changer for crisp lovers worldwide, with plans afoot to open more heart-shaped potato farms soon.

“We wanted to show our fans how much we love them, and we think the new heart-shaped crisps have done it”, said Walkers spokesperson Wayne Newton.

“With so many crisp lovers searching for heart-shaped crisps in their bags this year, we wanted to go further and ensure all our crisps give a little love from Walkers”.
