WAGAMAMA CELEBRATES THE RETURN OF NATIONAL KATSU CURRY DAY

It’s official! On Wednesday 27th of September, National Katsu Curry Day is returning and it’s back with a bang, just in time students returning to university. Nourishing the nation with katsu curries since January 1997, this is their most iconic dish and it’s time to celebrate a day dedicated to katsu.

To celebrate this significant day, one lucky noodle union member will also have the chance to win unlimited katsu curries for a whole year*! Exclusively available to university students and apprentices signed up to the noodle union, 50 katsu curries will be up for grabs at every wagamama across the UK between 3pm and 5pm.

We’re also pleased to announce the launch of Student Sundays, which will give students and apprentices more safe places to hang, and enjoy some exclusive food on us.”

Announcing his second term as the President of the wagamama noodle union, Niko Omilana has shared the news that National Katsu Curry Day is set to make a triumphant return. Katsu fans at wagamama’s noodle lab restaurant in Soho will experience a surprise visit from no other than President Niko himself and will also have a chance to bag a limited edition wagamama hoodie powered by PANGAIA; the brand’s latest collaboration.

In addition to National Katsu Curry Day, wagamama is also launching an exciting new initiative to its noodle union members. Introducing “Student Sundays”, a series of events that will run for three consecutive weeks, starting on the 17th of September. Between 2pm and 5pm on Student Sundays, noodle union members will receive exclusive access to a secret dish with the purchase of any main course, available at 25 wagamama restaurants across the UK.
