Verge NXT: 3 Face and Cee

Joshua “3FACE” Eagles and Cedrik “CEE” Aberle’s musical journey is a testament to the power of art to transcend borders and elevate consciousness. Their intergalactic sound, nurtured in the vibrant city of Cape Town, reflects the soul of South Africa while embracing the global influences that shape their creative expression.
The pair’s natural chemistry was kindled in high school over their mutual love of rap as well as classic R&B and pop from the 1980’s. The vocal contrast – coupled with their ethereal yet melodic sound has propelled the duo’s local popularity. Now they’re setting their sights on growing a global fan base. “We’ve just been learning from each other; building each other up in terms of writing and production,” says 3FACE. “We’ve elevated ourselves and got really comfortable with our sound to create a new type of hip-hop fusion that we’re hooked on.”
They boldly fuse elements of soul, jazz, electronic, and Afrobeat into a seamless amalgamation of sonic bliss and a unique fusion that makes them stand out as true musical innovators.
3FACE & CEE are currently in the studio writing and recording songs for a new album. The duo has been collaborating with award-winning producers D’Mile (H.E.R., Bruno Mars and Silk Sonic, Beyonce, Justin Bieber, Justin Timberlake, Rihanna, Mary J. Blige, Lucky Daye and others), Larrance “Rance” Dopson, from the legendary 1500 or Nothin’ (Bruno Mars, Jay-Z, Snoop Dagg and Saweetie) and J.R. Rotem (Jason Derulo, Gwen Stefani, 50 Cent, Rihanna, Paris Hilton, Rick Ross, Britney Spears, Leona Lewis, Sean Kingston and others).
As musical soulmates, they have found a synergy that resonates deeply with audiences, promising a summer of extraordinary sonic experiences. So, keep an eye on these rising stars and immerse yourself in their melodies – Joshua “3FACE” Eagles and Cedrik “CEE” Aberle are the ones to watch this summer.
