Verge Loves: WOLFENSTEIN: YOUNGBLOOD

On June 10th 2018, Bethesda Softworks revealed the next spectacular chapter of the cold blooded war in the ‘Wolfenstein’ series at E3 2018. Bethesda Softworks are the creators of some of the most well-known and accomplished games such as:

  • The Elder Scrolls V series
  • Fallout series
  • Prey
  • DOOM
  • Dishonored series
  • The Evil Within series

They now are bringing us the follow-up called ‘Wolfenstein Youngblood’, a brand-new co-op experience that takes place in 1980’s Paris, 19 years after BJ Blazkowicz ignited the second American Revolution in ‘Wolfenstein II: The New Colossus’. But surprisingly, the game’s major protagonists are B.J Blazkowicz’s twin daughters (Jess and Soph) maintaining their father’s battle against invading Nazis. Machine Games will be expanding the sequel so you’ll be able to explore the game combining a two-player experience or, if you rather, a companionless single-player adventure as the Blazkowicz twins in investigation for their missing father. also look out for the ‘Da’at Yichud Power Suit’ from the previous ‘Wolfenstein’ rebooted games which makes a reappearance.

As the first person shooter you can dual-wield ceremonious and mind-blowing weapons to butcher swarms of robotic nazi-totalitarians. The game’s rollercoaster narrative of a story is beautiful, bloody and genuinely amusing in the trilogy and seems to have a potential of being one of the best stories in gaming history.

There has been no release date for ‘Wolfenstein: Youngblood’ but we are expecting news very soon for the next stage of the series that will be available on PlaySation4, Xbox One and PC.
