This weekend, the Verge team headed down to Brighton to attend WILD LIFE festival. This was their return for the second year which sold out on Saturday and reached very close to capacity on Sunday. With amazing weather on Saturday and not ‘bad for England-in-June’ on Sunday, we are able to enjoy the great selection of food and drinks whist listening to top DJs such as Dixon Brothers, Barely Legal, EZ, Annie Mac and the incredible Kaytranada.
Disclosure and Rudimental did an amazing job of curating the eclectic selection of artists for the event, from Grime (Stormzy, Skepta and Kano) to Hip Hop (Ice Cube, Pusha T and Busta Rhymes), experimental (Flume, Todd Terje) to House (Skream, Artwork and Jackmaster).
The crowd was laid back and good natured which all added to the chilled atmosphere. Congrats to the organisers and local staff – Wild Life deserved its second year and we hope there are many more to come.
