Verge Loves: Newcastle United FC’s new home kit

Sports Company PUMA today presented Newcastle United FC’s new home kit, which combines traditional and modern elements to pay homage to the 50th anniversary of the club’s Fairs Cup success.

The new home shirt takes inspiration from the club’s 1969 kit with a central black stripe, tonal club crest placed in the centre of the shirt and round neck collar with white trim. The kit features black shorts and traditional black & white turnover socks.

PUMA has produced the home shirt using its proven dryCELL technology. This material draws sweat away from the skin to the surface, ensuring a pleasantly dry feeling for the body even during strenuous exercise.

The home shirt is available, at an RRP of £65, at, the NUFC retail stores and other popular sports retailers.
