On January 10th, 2013, CD Projekt RED released a teaser trailer for a brand new sci-fi, role-playing game from the creators of the greatest open-world RPG’s of all time being ‘The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt’. At E3 2018 another trailer was revealed showing us in cinematic detail of what you’re in store for.
The game is reportedly to be an another open-world RPG that will be a first-person shooter, Cyberpunk 2077 is set in ‘Night City’ a dystopian mega-city filled with flying cars and skyscrapers, where mega-corporations have overstepped any democratically-elected government in controlling the lives of citizens whilst multiple criminal factions contest for the control of the city.
You’re a cyberpunk, working outside of the system to build a life for yourself and trying to not get terminated. The game gives you complete control of your character. You can choose to be either a male or a female cyberpunk, and you can also change more good-looking and detailed rough city features such as hair type and colour, as well as adding tattoos and etc.
Although you’ll pick your characters, you can modify your stats throughout the experience to fit any play style. In ‘Night City’ factions wars rise throughout the city for control of the city to fight back against the mega-corporations to hold the majority of the world’s resources. With a huge combination of weapons to buy, upgrades you can purchase for existing guns, and implants you can purchase to enhance your own customisable abilities. You can get these tech upgrades for your cyberpunk by visiting ‘Ripper Docs’, NPC’s equipped with tools to rip out your eyes and replace them with better models (new optics that have the ability to zoom in and scan objects better) or install a better gun grip in your hand to let you handle your weapons more easily.
There’s a lot of great things to say about ‘Cyberpunk 2077’, from the way you’ll interact with the computers in its world, to the way you can silently take down enemies and hack into their minds to gain a competitive advantage against the rest of the gangs that surround the ‘Night City’.
There has been no official release date for ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ but it’ll be issued to come in 2019 for PlayStation4, Xbox One and PC.
