CoinCorner, one of the oldest Bitcoin exchanges in the UK (founded in 2014), has launched MtSocks.com, selling Bitcoin-themed educational socks.
MtSocks can be described as a “fashion educational tool” for beginners to Bitcoin and those with an existing interest in the cryptocurrency industry, aimed at encouraging people to learn about Bitcoin, its history and special features in a fun and friendly way. With new designs each month, every pair of socks represents key events and happenings that have shaped the history of Bitcoin. Every pair of socks comes with an information card which shares the history of the sock design.
Branded by unique and eye-catching designs, every pair of socks is limited edition as a nod to the finite supply of Bitcoin – a key feature that means only 21 million Bitcoin will ever be mined and in circulation. Purchasing the socks can be done with Bitcoin (BTC) only. The website offers a choice of buying individual pairs of socks or a 12-month “Sockscription” which is delivered monthly.
5% of all profits from the sale of the socks will also be donated to support the Bitcoin Core Project – a team of software developers around the world who dedicate their time to work on and develop the technical infrastructure behind Bitcoin.
