Today, Verge attended Story School, a storytelling initiative hosted Master Story Teller, Kevin Graal with special guest Binky Felstead and her daughter India.

It’s great to be involved in Story School at Chessington. Since having India, I’ve realised how important story time is, it’s been so beneficial receiving tips on how to make the most out of this time with her. Chessington has spread awareness about the importance of story time and how this is often an overlooked party of the day that is falling off the agenda for many families. This initiative has been really helpful and given me the confidence to really bring stories to life.
Story School has been introduced, following shocking statistics from Chessington’s recent survey revealing 36% of UK parents feel nervous about reading stories to their children at bedtime. The aim of the one-of-a-kind workshop is to help parents bring books to life for their children and guide parents on the most effective storytime tips and techniques.
We had a great day and even got to enjoy some of the rides too!
