Tim Shaft releases your new favorite Halloweekend track: Funkenstein

Renown EDM record label Big & Dirty Records has added another rising electronic starlet to their roster. After raising the likes of industry heavyweights like Nicky Romero and Dada Life, this Dutch label has a knack for finding the best up-and-coming tracks from all around the globe.

The latest from Big & Dirty is Tim Shaft’s track “Funkenstein.” A self-described “progressive aggressive” artist, Shaft’s tracks feature an idyllic combination of heavy basslines and dance-friendly melodies.

As one-half of the Russian house duo Going Deeper, Tim Shaft – born Timur Shafiev – has a solid background as a DJ and a producer. His track “Unstoppable” was featured as Demo of the Week on Hardwell’s On Air session. Shortly after, the young artists behind the 2014 smash “Animals,” Martin Garrix, featured the track on his radio show.

His newest track, “Funkenstein” features a seamless progressive-electro sound full of heavy drops and funky beats. It’s the perfect soundtrack for any Halloween weekend banger.

Time to crank up these deep beats and let your weekend get freaky.
