The Town is a brand-new festival taking place in São Paulo, one of the coolest cities in South America. The concept is the brainchild of the creators of the legendary Rock In Rio festival, featuring 235 hours of music from hundreds of performing artists and will host half a million people across five days. Global superstars confirmed to perform across six stages include Foo Fighters, Post Malone, Maroon 5, Bruno Mars, Demi Lovato, Liam Payne, H.E.R., Queens Of The Stone Age, Garbage, Iggy Azalea, Bebe Rhexa as well as local heroes Alok, Luísa Sonza, Ludmilla and more.
The Town is a spectacle like no other with a huge amount of mind-blowing production creating many worlds that festival goers can immerse themselves in. Taking place at the 360,000 meter squared Interlagos Racetrack, the experience will feature breath-taking scenography of iconic São Paulo architecture, inspiration from the city’s art museums, gargantuan LED lighting, colossal production and unique spaces where festival goers can lose themselves in music, art and culture.
The Town is of great cultural relevance for the continent and Brazil itself and a survey by Getulio Vargas Foundation found that an economic impact of £260 million should be expected, the largest ever seen in the capital, in addition to generating 19,000 jobs.
The diversity of the city’s cuisines is celebrated in a dedicated gastronomic space whilst the VIP area will feature a climate-controlled space with food by renowned chefs and an exclusive bar.
The Town is brand new, but the thought has been shaped by a team with many decades of bringing the most innovative shows to continents across the globe. It is an unmissable occasion and is set to become one of the world’s most celebrated entertainment events.

Grammy award nominated and best-selling rap/pop artist Post Malone is bringing his new fifth album “Austin” to the Town stage alongside Grammy winning pop icon Bruno Mars. Also performing are one of the world’s best-selling bands with over 135 million records sold, Maroon 5, one of the most successful rock bands in Grammy history, Foo Fighters, Liam Payne, as well as vocal powerhouse and activist Demi Lovato.
In addition to these household names The Town offers the change to explore the most exciting Latin artists exploding around the world. These include local São Paulo artists such as MC Hariel, who has reached over 2 billion views on his material and the iconic Brazilian DJ Alok. Named as one of the top 25 DJs in the world by DJ Magazine, Alok is known for putting his crowd in a trance with his beats, and also started UP Club Records specialising in dance music due to his love for the genre.
The Town is the best setting in years to hear from Brazilian artists who are changing the world and playing for their people, these also include Latin singer-songwriter Ludmilla, who in September 2020 became the first Black Latin-American female to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify. In accordance with the genre bending lineup, Brazilian rap rock group Planet Hemp, which started the careers of rappers Marcelo D2 and BNegão, will play on opening day, for those who feel like dancing their hearts out and problems away.
