Swizz Beatz takes over F1 Tracks for Monaco Virtual Grand Prix

Lewis Hamilton & Swizz

The next F1 Tracks takeover has landed, this week hip hop recording artist, DJ and record producer Swizz Beatz, brings his infamous “Zone Radio” to the F1 Tracks playlist for the Monaco Virtual Grand Prix.

During lockdown Swizz has been busy creating Instagram based programs for music lovers. Swizz and fellow super star producer Timbaland, have launched “Verzuz”, where they pay tribute to iconic music creators of the past and present. He is also producing “Zone Radio,” a late night radio show, live from his extremely impressive garage of cars. Swizz’s influence has led to both shows being hugely successful, breaking IG streaming records with over 750K simultaneous live viewers, and over 4million users tuning in over the duration of a stream.

Swizz is a huge F1 fan and when asked which F1 driver he thought would make the best music artist, he was in no doubt it would be Lewis Hamilton, highlighting his “swag and appeal” and even mentioning that he has been in the studio with Lewis before.

Swizz also notes that he loves the non-stop energy of F1, and feels like this is reflected in some of his songs. He highlights Monaco as his favourite racing track and has united his passion of F1 and music to produce the perfect playlist for fans to enjoy while watching the Virtual Grand Prix this weekend. His playlist is an eclectic mix of tracks including hit single, “Drop It Like It’s Hot” by Snoop Dogg and Pharrell, the classic tune from Chaka Demus & Pliers, “Murder She Wrote” and even a song from reggae artist Bob Marley, “One Love”.
