SUPERDRY PARTNERS WITH MOBOLISE TO ATTRACT & RETAIN DIVERSE TALENT

Superdry is among a hand-picked community of Trailblazers endorsing MOBOLISE, an upskilling and recruitment platform for Black talent. Launched by MOBO’S Founder, Kanya King, CBE, the aim of the partnership is to ensure that Superdry is attracting and retaining diverse creative talent from a broader range of backgrounds when recruiting for roles at their Headquarters in Cheltenham. In doing so, this will help to ensure that Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion is further embedded within the brand’s DNA.

Companies joining Superdry, as a DE&I-focused organisation, to help lead the charge for change, include Accenture, Burberry, Disney UK, HSBC, PPL, NBC Universal, The Orchard and Salesforce. The collaboration with MOBOLISE will enable Superdry to identify and activate training and employee engagement opportunities, as well as having a presence at events, seminars, and training sessions to help candidates prepare for interviews. Superdry’s first virtual event with MOBOLISE has been confirmed for 24th November and is an exciting free of charge one-hour virtual talk. This will feature two Black career professionals, in conversational style, who will give advice on how to get ahead in their industries.

As a MOBOLISE Trailblazer, Superdry will work with the platform to help drive societal change by being one of the first organisations to level the playing field for under-represented talent. The brand is committed to sharing its expertise, to support the amplification of careers for young professionals within the Black community.

Kanya King, CBE, founder of MOBO Organisation and MOBOLISE, added: “MOBOLISE was created as a transformational platform, connect, support and ultimately provide vital career opportunities for the underrepresented Black community. This is with the goal of creating a more diverse workplace, and levelling the playing field. To have Superdry onboard as one of our hand-picked early Trailblazer supporters demonstrates its commitment to diversifying the company’s workforce and providing equity of opportunities to Black talent.”

Superdry are excited to be part of a journey which seeks to drive the revolution of the UK workforce, by uniting, uplifting and empowering young, Black creative talent.
