PizzaExpress have launched its exciting Spring menu which celebrates seasonal produce with a host of new and returning recipes.
The menu sees the return of fan favourite, the Romana Parmense pizza. Inspired by the produce of Parma on a thin and crispy base, topped with asparagus, prosciutto, mozzarella, Gran Milano cheese and a runny egg.
Continuing the brands expansion of its Dough Ball menu over recent years, an exciting new addition joins the menu with the introduction of Hot Honey Dough Balls. Following the popularity of 2021’s limited edition Hot Honey Pizza, Dough Ball fans can enjoy a deliciously sweet and spicy twist on the iconic starter.
In a UK restaurant first, Peroni Nastro Azzurro Stile Capri joins the menu – continuing the pairs long standing relationship, since PizzaExpress founder, Peter Boizot, first bought Peroni to the UK many decades ago. Offering a refreshingly light lager made with a spritz of lemon, inspired by the island of Capri, it’s the perfect Spring sip.
Other new drinks include the spicy Paloma Hot made with Patrón Silver Tequila, as well as a brand-new Amalfi Peachello liqueur, created exclusively for PizzaExpress. Made with sun-soaked peaches, perfect with Prosecco in a spritz for a twist on the traditional Italian taste.
The Spring menu has something for everyone including returning veggie icon, the Bosco Salad. Garlic roasted mushrooms take centre stage on a bed of fresh spinach and rocket topped with slow-roasted tomatoes, torn mozzarella, Italian artichokes and finished with a balsamic glaze and honey and mustard dressing.
A host of new desserts join the menu to tempt the taste buds, including a returning cult classic the Honeycomb Cream Slice. Back by popular demand the sweet treat is made with salted caramel, honeycomb, and whipped cream on a rich biscuit base for the ultimate indulgence. Also joining the menu is the Sunshine Sundae made with sweet mango, passionfruit curd, vanilla gelato and whipped cream to signal that summer is just around the corner with a tropical tang. Diners can also enjoy a classic style Baked Vanilla Cheesecake or a Lime and Basil Sorbet to complete the line-up of sweet treats to choose from.
The Spring menu is available in all Pizzerias nationwide for dine-in, collection and delivery.
