Instead of fearing the chilly weather, there are plenty of things to look forward to about the frosty season. Buying new layers and new boots inÂ various heel heights aren’t the only thing that’s exciting about the freezing time of the year, all the little things we do every single year are what makes it the enjoyable and super snugÂ time that it is.
People frown at the early mention of Crimbo but it is only two months away! Christmas list preparation is an event in itself, and shopping on Oxford Street at this time of the year is the best time to see the pretty street and its festive lights. Organisation is key.
You can never have too many scarves, the picnic blanket-sized ones are the best. You can wrap up so much that youâ€™re in an ultimate cosy bubble throughout the whole day. Cosy mode = happiness.

- Chunky knits
Even if youâ€™re absolutely sweating in it under your wool coat and blanket-size scarf, wearing a chunky knit jumper always brings a sense of bliss. Thereâ€™s also the added bonus that if you have nothing to wear, a chicÂ chunky knitÂ is always appropriate.
- Bulking season
Winter means itâ€™s acceptable to scoff marshmallows/chocolate/waffles/pancakes and any other carb that we can hide under our many layers until June. Honestly who can avoid all of that food in December, and then all the leftover food that you have to â€œget rid ofâ€ throughout January?
- Sleek hair
The humidity that summer brings means we all have frizzy hair problems. We can now say goodbye to that and hello to sleek locks, even if they may get a little windswept in the brisk air, we can all do with some volume here and there. In worst case, woolly hats are now acceptable again.
