Shrek’s Adventure! London has baked up something truly Shrektacular this National Gingerbread Day. Visitors are in for a sweet treat as Shrek’s iconic swamp will be on display made entirely out of gingerbread.
To celebrate the sugary holiday, the team at Shrek’s Adventure! London and cake artist Michelle Wibowo have worked tirelessly to recreate every inch of Shrek’s beloved home, from the rickety welcome sign to the quaint outhouse, all with an irresistibly edible twist.
This biscuit masterpiece, which took over 50 hours to create, is as whimsical as it is mouth-watering, featuring intricate icing details, candy embellishments, and of course, a few surprise character visits that only the magic of Far Far Away can deliver. It’s just as amazing as the Muffin Man’s own gingerbread creation on Drury Lane!
Shrek’s Gingerbread Swamp will be on display from June 5th through till June 12th, giving everyone plenty of time to enjoy this one-of-a-kind creation. Whether you’re a die-hard Shrek fan, a gingerbread aficionado, or just looking for a fun family outing, this event is not to be missed!

London, see, hear, touch and smell the adventure by exploring 10 fairytale themed live shows, from a magical 4D flying bus experience, interacting with various famous characters including Princess Fiona and Donkey to collecting the special ingredients that you will need in order to find Shrek and make it home safely.
