A juice van stocked with ‘apple free’ brain-boosting drinks to recharge minds, and plug sockets to recharge battery-depleted phones, visited London.
Smartphone manufacturer, Huawei – renowned for their market leading smartphone battery life –were behind the van which was branded as ‘Huawei JU%CE that lasts’. The van served up juices with ‘no traces of apple’ throughout the day as it roamed the capital. Customers could ‘pay for JU%CE’ by posting on social media using #HigherIntelligence.
The van also housed several charging points for mobile phones, helping recharge those who are stuck with handsets with weak battery life. The move comes on the day of Huawei’s key rival’s new phone launch and teases what might be unveiled at their upcoming flagship launch event on October 16th.
The range of ‘Higher Intelligence’ drinks on offer included ‘Huawei Supercharged’, ‘B6 Boost’, ‘OK GO!’ and ‘Vitamin Max’ – all of which were designed to energise the minds of queue-weary consumers.
Justin Costello, Huawei Director of Marketing, UK and Ireland, said: “At Huawei we pride ourselves on making phones with batteries that last. Today we want to give a small hint of what’s to come on 16thOctober in London, when we will launch our most intelligent handset to date as part of the Mate series. We want people to know that there is an alternative to having a phone that lacks juice and lets you down when you most need it.”
