Shoreditch street style inspired by Comb

Shoreditch is an area in London popularized by creative industries, vintage shops, and local independent stores, so it is a hotbed for spotting fashion trends and generally stylish people. We went to Shoreditch to photograph street style, and were not disappointed. Monochrome looks, sporty clothing, and balancing of textures were just some of the trends we saw from the fashionable district.

With our favorite fashion app, Comb, you can comb each of the outfits below to find pieces to work into your everyday wardrobe (or comb to find an entire outfit).

These three people each rock an edgy look in different ways. On the far left, a leather jacket, ripped jeans and holographic sandals help to toughen-up a t-shirt and cropped sweater. The pastel, pink hair sets off the outfit perfectly and is right on trend. Beside her, all black and a cross necklace create a clean but edgy look. On the right, dramatic sunglasses and a variety of textures help to give the look some depth, while a neutral color palette keeps the look from becoming overwhelming.

The street styles of these men spotted in Shoreditch are different, but both look great. On the left, the all black everything outfit is on trend with the monochrome theme. On the right, an Adidas shirt, shoes, and baseball cap help to take jeans to a sportier outfit. Both of these looks are great ways to stay looking nice while out for a casual day with friends.

Although both of these ladies are rocking leather jackets, the different styling makes them each a different look. On the left, feminine details such as a high, sleek bun, a dainty gold chain, and a floral-patterned skirt help to soften the leather jacket, which is normally associated with a rock-and-roll style. With her styling, it helps to toughen up a feminine look while still maintaining a preppy-girl vibe. On the right, black slip-on sneakers and a beanie make the jacket an additional layer of edginess, while the animal print sweater adds a pop of pattern and personality to this look. These two looks, as well as others above, show the versatility of the leather jacket and why it should be a wardrobe staple.
