Burgers in common! Shake Shack is crossing south of the river, opening its 14th location in the UK in Clapham. The new Shack will have a favourable location on Clapham High Street, opposite Clapham Common, one of London’s largest, and oldest, public open spaces.
In preparation for the opening, Shake Shack is collaborating with south London-based artist Michael Parkin on a unique illustration for the building’s exterior. The artwork is Inspired by the vibrant bustling streets and the peaceful Common; Michael wanted to capture the sense of community and fun that Clapham exudes. His work mixes drawing and hand-made textures, all combined digitally to create a small snapshot of the local area.
Fans will be able to get their hands on all the Shack classics, including the signature ShackBurger, Crinkle-Cut Fries, Flat-top Dogs, ShackMeister Ale and hand-spun shakes in addition to special menu items unique to Shake Shack Clapham.
